NBC Direct Beta- NBC: go back to iTunes
So I got around to downloading NBC’s new iTunes killer, NBC Direct. So first I went to the page and it said browser incompatible, IE only. After downloading in IE7, which I have rarely used, the program was ready to be downloaded.
I hit the link and waited. About 2 minutes later, the download started. The progress bar was stable at zero percent for about 10 minutes. Finally, after 20 minutes, the program said it was done installing.
I opened it up, and all I got was a black screen for about 2 minutes (I presume it was loading). 
After it loaded, I clicked on the show link to download the program.
Again, the program was slow, as the progress bar took a while. 
After it dowloaded, I clicked play, but it started up an annoying Bertolli ad. I waited for the ad to finish, and then the show was about to start. Unfortunately, all I got was an error message about WMP. 
I clicked on the link. Oh no, Its a Microsoft help page! It said that because I had upgraded from XP to Vista, the DRM was not supported. I looked all over, but could not find a solution to the problem. Now I can not play the Office episode. Thanks NBC! You could have just let me buy it on iTunes, but no!!!! I had to go through this shi**y process and it doesn’t even work.
NBC, go back to iTunes.
